Munitions India Limited said that the state-owned defence company received orders for more than 10 lakh multi-mode grenades for the Indian Armed Forces. Additionally, over ₹3,000 crore of orders for exports has been placed with the defence firm. The announcement comes at a time when the Modi government has been taking efforts to transform the defence sector into a self-reliant industry that can cater to the present and future endeavours of the Armed Forces.
