NATO nation 'ditches' Ukraine; Refuses to send Russia-made S-300 missile systems to Kyiv | Details | Times Of Ahmedabad

Ukraine’s conflict began with Kyiv’s NATO inclination, and members of the alliance have been kind of snubbing the war-torn nation one by one in some or other way. Greece is the latest NATO member to “ditch” Ukraine amid the war with Russia. The Greek Defense Minister said that the country “cannot afford to donate its Russian-made S-300 anti-air missile systems to Ukraine.” The statement comes days after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken travelled to Athens on February 21, where he discussed “support for Kyiv” with the Greek government. The Russian foreign ministry has warned that Moscow would view the transfer of the Russian-made S-300 systems to Ukraine as an “openly hostile act.”
