Russian forces unleashed a fresh offensive in Ukraine, days after the war completed one year. Russian President Vladimir Putin intensifies his battle to capture Donetsk and Kherson. Russian forces have gained ground to in Donetsk’s Maryinka town despite Ukrainian military’s stiff resistance. The fall of Maryinka means Putin’s troops are getting closer to seizing Krasnogorovka, from where Ukrainian troops have been shelling Donetsk.
