Russian officials have claimed that Ukrainian troops have only one road left to get out of Bakhmut as President Vladimir Putin’s forces have surrounded the embattled city in the Eastern region of Donetsk on all sides. Russians officials added that Ukrainian counteroffensive near the city of Kreminna also failed as the soldiers attempted an attack without enough ammunition. On the other hand, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu claimed that his country will expand the ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine if the U.S.-led West continues to send long-range weapons to Ukraine.
