The United States State Department spokesperson Ned Price redirected a Pakistani journalist to “refer the Government of India” for more information on the “search” that the income tax department conducted in the BBC offices in Delhi and Mumbai earlier this week. Pakistani news organisation ARY News’ Washington DC correspondent, Jahanzaib Ali, raised the question of “raiding” the BBC offices.
