Aero India 2023 witnessed thrilling aerobatics by made-in-India Light Combat Helicopter ‘Prachand’ which left the audience mesmerised. LCH ‘Prachand’ is the world’s only attack helicopter suitable for flying at high altitudes. It has been designed and developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and was formally commissioned into the Indian Air Force in 2022. The multi-role attack helicopter can damage enemy’s air defence activities and fire a variety of air-to-ground and air-to-air missiles.
