Zelensky laments ‘excruciating’ Donetsk situation amid Putin’s onslaught | Times Of Ahmedabad

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that the situation in East and South Ukraine was ‘excruciating and very difficult’ as Russia intensified its onslaught on war anniversary. Russian forces relentlessly pounded Ukrainian strongholds in Donetsk and Kherson. A Russian Su-25 crashed in the Belgorod region as it returned from combat operation. The Russian pilot was killed in the crash. On the other hand, former Russian President and Vladimir Putin’s ally Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will be victorious in Ukraine and is ready to fight until the Polish border to counter ‘threats’.
