J&K: Terrorist Mushtaq Zargar freed in Kandahar hijacking faces NIA heat | Times Of Ahmedabad

NIA has attached the house of fugitive terrorist and chief of Al-Umar Mujahideen, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, in Srinagar’s downtown area as part of ongoing crackdown against the militants, their associates and sympathisers. Zargar, a designated terrorist, was freed in exchange of Indian Airlines IC-814 hostages in 1999 along with Jaish-e-Muhammad Chief Maulana Masood Azhar and British-Pakistani terrorist Omar Sheikh. He is currently living somewhere in Pakistan or Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and as per NIA remains linked to Al-Qaeda and Jaish-e-Muhammad. Watch the video for more.
