Days after supporters of radical preacher Amritpal Singh attacked Indian consulate in San Francisco, reports have emerged that they even tried to set it ablaze. The alleged incident is said to have taken place around 4.20 am on March 19. A portion of the incident was reportedly captured on Indian consulate’s CCTV also. News agency PTI reported that two bearded men, who are yet to be identified, poured flammable material at entrance of the Indian mission. But the fire did not spread for reasons yet unknown.
