Russia warned of dire consequences if U.S. were to arm Ukraine with cluster munitions. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said that those U.S. Congressmen who are pushing the Biden administration toward supplying Kyiv forces with cluster bombs should note the implications of such deliveries for NATO’s security. Moscow’s response came after four republican congressmen reportedly asked US President Joe Biden to send cluster munitions to Ukraine, specifically dual purpose improved conventional munitions (DPICM).
