Must welcome new ways to administer justice: Attorney General
The Attorney General appeals to the Executive and the Judiciary to adopt new approaches to justice administration. Governments should open up their minds to radical ideas, while courts should be sensitive to the complexities of governance. Ethical appeals are the Attorney General’s strength, as it lacks financial and authoritative power. The constitutionally promised access to justice should go beyond mere litigation access. The poor and marginalized suffer under the adversarial system, and a national platform for legal reforms is urgently needed.
