Ahmedabad: The state education department recently completed the recruitment process for principals in grant-in-aid schools. According to the department data, 1,441 teachers have been recruited against 1,831 vacant positions, leaving 390 positions vacant.
Sources said the schools have demanded that the department hold another round of recruitment to fill the remaining vacancies.
The state government had announced the recruitment process of principals and begun accepting applications from May 22.
The education department had received about 3,700 applications from candidates.
Sources said the candidates chose the schools nearest to their residences or native towns. This resulted in some of the locations not being chosen, leaving 390 positions vacant. tnn

IB ACIO Recruitment 2023 notification released for 995 posts, application begins Nov 25
The Intelligence Bureau has released the IB ACIO Recruitment 2023 notification for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II Executive.
