14 days to decide in which House to stay | India News

The immediate challenge for the MPs who have won the assembly polls will be to resign from one House within 14 days, otherwise their Parliament membership will turn void and they will continue as members of the state legislature. As their resignation as Lok Sabha MPs may not necessitate bypolls immediately since LS polls will be due in March-April, many of the winning MPs are likely to continue as state legislators and also take over as ministers, party sources said.
