'Animal' box office collection day 3: The Ranbir Kapoor film clocks the second highest weekend after 'Jawan' after a smashing Sunday

Before the release of ‘Animal‘, several questions were asked to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga if the ‘A’ certificate given to ‘Animal’ will affect the film’s box officeprowess. While he couldn’t predict the numbers which the film will generate, he was just very happy that the film got an ‘A’ certificate. Cut to present! Three days after the film has released, it has smashed the box office and how.The early estimates of the Sunday numbers show a significant growth on Saturday and with that, the film has torn the box office apart, for sure!
After entering the 100-crore club on Saturday. The film made Rs 56crore nett in Hindi language on Saturday. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the collection of Animal in Hindi is around Rs 64.80 crore. The total collection on Sunday including other languages will be around Rs 72.50 crore. With that, the film’s total collection has reached about Rs 202 crore in all languages. The Hindi total weekend will be around Rs 170 crore which makes it the second highest weekend number of all time after ‘Jawan‘.
This is certainly, Ranbir Kapoor‘s highest ever box office number ever. But that’s not all. The advance bookings of Monday also look promising and one can expect the film to make around Rs 30 crore on Monday. There’s immense buzz around the film on social media and even the criticism for ‘Animal’ seems to be working in the film’s favour as people are getting more curious to know what’s it all about?
‘Animal’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri alongside Ranbir.
