Appeal Against Society’S Redevelopment: Appeal against society’s redevelopment junked - Gujarat high court | Ahmedabad News

Ahmedabad: A division bench of the Gujarat high court on Friday dismissed an appeal against a single judge’s order giving a green signal to Ratnamani Cooperative Housing Society in Ghatlodia.
The bench headed by Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal turned down an appeal filed by 15 members of the society, who were opposing the redevelopment scheme on different grounds.
The court upheld the single judge’s order and said that the redevelopment scheme satisfied the legal requirements that more than 75% of the members should consent to the scheme. In this case, nearly 84% members had consented for the redevelopment of the society. The society was constructed in 1981.TNN
