Beyoncé’s childhood home in Houston catches fire Christmas morning

Sadly, *** young family of four in Third Ward lost their home in *** fire here, Christmas morning. And it turns out that home was also where Beyonce grew up. Fox 26 Shelby Rose reports from Rosedale Street, first and foremost, the family that lives here now, which does include small Children. They were able to get out before firefighters even arrived here on scene and everyone is unharmed, but you can just see that damage. It left behind specifically on the second story there. It’s more or less stripped down to the frame. Now, records show the Noles family did live inside this very home until Beyonce was around five years old and back in 2018, it was listed for sale for half *** million dollars. Now, the Houston Fire department tells us they got the call around two this morning and arrived on scene just minutes later to battle those flames which you can see barreling out of that second story window and there isn’t more damage. The district chief tells us because of the quick work of these firefighters to put it out. Both these crews are really good crews. They train *** lot, they work hard. They like being here. We’re here on Christmas morning and these guys are chopping at the bit, go to these house fires. I think it’s *** credit to all Houston fire to, you know, to be here and doing things we’re doing right now. And as for what’s next, the arson team will now come in and do their investigation into the cause of the fire, which is currently unknown. But I will say that is just customary and it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are speculating that this is an arson case reporting in the third ward, Shelby Rose Fox 26 News.
