Ahmedabad: The Gujarat high court on Friday directecd the state goverment to submit an action taken report in the Morbi suspension bridge collapse case by next week.
The HC had sought the report from the government on October 10, when the state governmentsubmitted a report by a SIT constituted to probe the bridge collapse incident. Since the counsel representing different parties were absent, the HC adjourned the hearing for a week.tnn

Account report for 2015-18 submitted: DJB to high court
Delhi Jal Board has submitted the final annual account report from 2015 to 2018 to the Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG). However, the accounts for 2018-21 are yet to be audited by CAG or the Accountant General, Central Revenue. The draft reports have been shared with the auditors but need approval from the water utility agency’s board. Once the draft reports are finalized, they will be sent to CAG. DJB will appoint a nodal officer to supervise the work of Annual Accounts and reply to CAG/AGCR observations within 3 months.

Varanasi court gives 10 more days to ASI to submit survey report of Gyanvapi
Varanasi district judge grants Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) 10 days to finalize and submit the Gyanvapi mosque survey report by December 11. The court instructs ASI to file the report within the given time and not request further extensions. ASI’s previous application for a three-week extension was rejected. The ASI survey of Gyanvapi mosque was initially halted but later resumed after objections were dismissed by the Allahabad high court and the Supreme Court refused to intervene. Defendants raise objections to the repeated extensions in court.
