Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married in December 2021 and left everyone surprised as before that, they had never really opened up about their relationship. They were also never really spotted together. The couple tied the knot, just when the world had slowly started opening up post the lockdown. Katrina recently admitted during a conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival that she was really nervous when they were planning the wedding.
The couple was quite anxious while planning their wedding as they had to stick to the covid guidelines and get Katrina’s family from different parts of the world together. During this discussion at the festival, Katrina said, “We were trying to plan our wedding just as the world was opening up. Like many, many people, we had to wait for the lockdowns to be lifted so that we could have a wedding with all our families there and all that I was keeping my fingers crossed for was that my entire family had to be there from all the corners of the world which we managed. So that was wonderful.”
Katrina also joked about the kind of chaos it is because it’s a family of six girls. Katrina has five sisters and a brother. So, with 6 girls in the family, it can get quite noisy and chaotic. The actress laughed and said that they would fight for mirror space, combs and hairbrushes. But they’re all skilled at braiding each other’s hair. “My sisters became my support system. We are an insular unit that we don’t need anyone else. People are welcome but when we all are together, it feels complete.”
