While Vicky Kaushal‘s stellar performance in Sam Bahadurgarnered acclaim, the film faced challenges in establishing a strong audience connection. After a weekend surge, the film experienced a significant 65% drop in performance on Monday. However, the film had maintained remarkable stability, consistently surpassing the Rs 3 crore mark for four consecutive days.However, during the second weekend, the film’s collections soared once again and in its second three day weekend, the film had crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office.

The first week collection of the film stood at Rs 38.85 crore. On Friday, the film added Rs 3.50 cr, while on Saturday it saw near 90% jump in its collection, adding Rs 6.75 crore. On Sunday it saw another 10% jump to collect Rs 7.5 crore, as per early estimates recorded by Sacnilk, taking the grand total of the film to Rs 56.55 crore.
With no new releases until December 21 (Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire and Dunki will release then), and Animal becoming steady at BO, the trade anticipated Sam Bahadur to experience a surge in collections, hoping the film would cross the Rs 50 crore mark, and that’s precisely what transpired.
Sam Bahadur narrates the remarkable four-decade journey of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the Indian Army, emphasizing his pivotal role in the 1971 liberation war of Bangladesh.
