Mumbai: For probably the first time since it was started, the Vijay Hazare Trophy‘s (One-dayers) semi-finals and the final will be held under lightsat the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium in Rajkot. “It’s a good initiative. We had suggested to the BCCI to use the floodlights for domestic cricket , and we’re happy that Jay bhai (Jay Shah) accepted our suggestion,” SCA president Jaydev Shah told TOI from Rajkot on Monday.
Haryana will take on Tamil Nadu in the first semifinal on December 13, while Karnataka will face Rajasthan in the second semifinal on December 14. The final will be played on December 16. All the league games were day matches.
