The movie ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ has released on 12th April on Netflix. The film is based on Punjabi folk singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Born in Dhubari, a small village in Ludhiana, Amar used to compose songs on extramarital affairs, love affairs and husband-wife relationships. His songs were the first choice at weddings in Punjab.
The film stars Diljit Dosanjh as Chamkila while Parineeti Chopra plays his wife Amarjot.
