Aamir Khan said that his ex-wife Reena Dutt slapped him during labor pain. The slap was done because the actor was giving Reena tips on breathing exercises during this difficult time. However, Reena did not like his action at all. This incident happened when Aamir was about to become a father for the first time.
In the current episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Aamir shared this funny anecdote about his ex-wife Reena Dutt.
Reena had a fistful in her hand due to the pain
Aamir Khan appeared as a guest in the current episode of the show. When Kapil, the host of the show, asked him if he noticed people’s behavior as an actor? On this the actor said that he does this even in strange situations. He said – I want to give you an idea of what I notice.
This was the day when son Junaid was to be born. Reena was having labor pains and we were in the hospital. Like a good husband, I taught her breathing exercises.
Then as the labor pains started, I tried to calm him down, but he slapped me. Along with this, the pain was so great that the hand was filled with pain.
Aamir said that at this point he did not understand what was happening. But in the meantime he noticed one thing, which he later used in the film. He said that when people are in a lot of pain, that pain is also reflected on the human face. When Reena was in labor pain, the pain was also visible on her face.
But people often think that when a person is in a lot of pain, their face shrinks. However, this does not happen. When a person is in extreme pain, the expressions on his face are amazing.
Aamir said that he told Reena this when she came home after being discharged. She was very angry then. She said- I was in pain and you were seeing my expressions.
Aamir married Reena Dutt in 1986. He has a son Junaid Khan and a daughter Ayra Khan from this marriage. The two divorced in 2002 after 16 years of marriage. Her Aamir had a second marriage with Kiran Rao. However, even this marriage did not last and after 15 years the two separated. Aamir and Kiran’s son’s name is Azad Rao Khan.
