Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Bade Mian Chhote Mian’ has been released. The length of this action drama based film is two hours and 44 minutes. Divya Bhaskar rated the film 4 out of 5 stars.

What is the story of the film?
A great calamity is about to befall the country. Enemy of the country Prithviraj Sukumaran (Kabir) is going to launch a massive attack on India with the help of AI. The country’s army and intelligence have only three days to deal with the problem. In such a situation, the Indian force remembers its two old officers Feroze (Akshay Kumar) and Rakesh (Tiger Shroff). Both of them are sent to finish Kabir’s nefarious plans. Both are supported by Manushi Chhillar (Misha) and Alaya F aka Pam in this mission.

When Kabir confronts Rakesh and Feroze, both are shocked. Rakesh and Feroze go into flashback. Kabir was also once associated with the Indian Army. He is a good friend of Feroze and Rakesh. Now what is the matter that he becomes an enemy of his own country and his own people, for this you have to watch the movie.

How is the acting of the star cast?
There is no doubt that both Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have impressed in their roles. Both the actors have handled very difficult action sequences with great ease. Tiger in particular seems more flexible. Meanwhile, Akshay’s comic timing seems funny. Manushi Chhillar is also looking good. Alaya F was seen overacting a bit.

Ronit Roy has also done a good job in the role of a senior army officer. However, apart from all this Prithviraj Sukumaran looked the best. In a way, it has emerged as an element of surprise. You go to see a film named Akshay and Tiger, but when you walk out of the theater you will be talking about Sukumaran.

How is the direction?
Director Ali Abbas Zafar has kept the story quite interesting in the first half. There will also be a suspense before the interval. In the second half the story becomes quite predictable, though not that you will get bored. Some of the dialogues will definitely sound outdated. The overall VFX of the film is good except for a few places. The film’s visual and sound effects are the biggest positive points.

Ali Abbas Zafar (first from right) has also directed Salman Khan's films Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

How is the music of the film?
The BGM of the film is fantastic. The BGM is set to the tune of the old Bade Mian Chhote Mian (1998). This is the only BGM used in the entire film. There are two-three songs in the film, which suit the sequences, but are not worth listening to in isolation. Vishal Mishra has composed the music for the film, while Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics.

Tiger is far ahead in terms of dance, but Akshay Kumar has also danced tremendously in this film.
