Nora Fatehi has recently satirized Bollywood marriages in an interview. He said that here people marry only for money and fame. There is absolutely no love between these people.
Nora recently spoke with Ranveer Allahabadia on his podcast about Bollywood weddings. He said that these people live together only for their own purpose. These people are very calculating. In such a situation people combine their personal and professional life and hence experience depression and suicide.
‘Use each other to get famous’
Nora further said, ‘These people use each other to become famous. But such people cannot do anything to me even if they want to. This is why no one can see me hanging out or dating a boy.’
‘I know what’s going on. In the film industry, people marry for influence. These people want to marry people whose films are releasing and doing well at the box office.’
‘People are ruining their lives for money, face and power’
He further said, ‘Today people are ruining their lives for fame, money and power. There is nothing worse than marrying someone you don’t even love and then living with him for years.’
Nora said, ‘Most people in our industry are doing this nonsense. They have no idea about this. These people are looking at marriage as a plan. He has stopped distinguishing between personal and professional life. Because of this they are not even happy.’
Nora said that she knows the difference between personal and professional life, so she stays away from these matters.
