‘Talent is not the only criterion for getting work in Bollywood’
Parineeti also talked about campaigniness in Bollywood in the interview. He said, ‘Acting talent is not the only criterion for getting a job in Bollywood. You must belong to a camp. I was not in the right place at the right time. Paparazzi don’t click me every day. My PR is very bad.
Parineeti further said that many talented actors do not reach the level they should be because they are not socially active or they are not seen in get togethers and glamorous events.
Parineeti said, ‘I want to be the voice of artists who are not part of any camp. Hope we end this lobby system in bollywood because I also want equal opportunities and work. I have chosen some wrong films but I am the same actress today as I was ten years ago. Now I am looking for the right platform.
