Firing took place outside Salman Khan’s house at 5 am on Sunday. Two bikers fired 4 rounds in front of Salman’s Galaxy apartment in Bandra. After this, the security of the house has been increased. Crime branch of Mumbai police has also reached for investigation. Salman was at his home when the firing took place. Khan received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldie gang.
After this incident, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde spoke to Salman Khan on phone. Shinde also spoke to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and asked him to increase Salman’s security. Security has been beefed up outside Salman’s house. Khan received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldie Barad gang.
The police have also received CCTV footage in which the accused is seen. He has completely covered his face

Bullet marks were found in the balcony
The forensic team found bullet marks from the balcony. So far two bullet marks have been found from Salman’s house. One on the outer wall and the other on the balcony wall. In this case, the Mumbai Police has recorded the statements of 4 watchmen of Galaxy Apartments, who were present there at the time of the incident.

Salman lives alone on the ground floor
Salman has been living in this house with his family for the last 40 years. Salman’s house is on the ground floor of the apartment. He lives here alone in a 1BHK L shaped apartment. His parents live on the first floor of an 8-storey Galaxy apartment.

Salman Khan’s security was beefed up after receiving a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi. He has got Y+ category security from Government of Maharashtra. In June 2022, Salman and his father Salim Khan received a threatening letter, stating that the same would happen to Salman as Sidhu Moosewala.

The NIA had said that Salman was among the 10 people who were threatened with death by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The Bishnoi gang is furious over the 1998 antelope poaching incident, citing which Lawrence threatened to kill them in a TV interview.
Y+ received security after threat, 11 soldiers remain with
Earlier, Maharashtra Police personnel lived with Salman, but he has been given Y+ category security after receiving threats. In this security circle, 11 soldiers stay with Salman throughout the day, including one or two commandos and 2 PSOs. There are always two vehicles to keep Salman’s vehicle in front and behind. Along with this, Salman’s car is also completely bulletproof.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Anand Dubey said, the incident of firing outside Salman Khan’s house is unfortunate, law and order has weakened, the government should take cognizance. Criminals roam fearlessly.
How many times have you received threats before?
- In June 2022, when Salman’s father Salim Khan, who was out for a morning walk, returned home, he received an unknown letter threatening to kill him and Salman. It was written in the letter – ‘Salman Khan your condition will be reduced to Musewala.’ After this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel and a case was registered in this regard at the Bandra Police Station.
- Last year, the Mumbai police arrested a man who threatened to kill Salman by calling him. The person making the threat was a 16-year-old minor. He threatened the Mumbai Police through a call and revealed his name as Rocky Bhai. He said he was a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan and would kill Salman on April 30.
- Last year, Dhakdram, a resident of Jodhpur, sent 3 e-mails to Salman’s official mail. It said that Salman Khan is your next number, you will be killed like Sidhu Moosewala as soon as you come to Jodhpur.
- In January 2024, two unknown people tried to enter Salman Khan’s farm house by breaking the fencing wire. After being caught by the police, both of them declared themselves as fans of Salman. A fake Aadhaar card was recovered from him. Due to this, an FIR has also been registered against both of them. Salman Khan is targeted by the Lawrence gang.
‘Sikandar’ will release on Eid next year
Salman Khan recently announced his upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ on the occasion of Eid. The film is directed by South’s famous director A. R. Murugadoss, who has previously directed Hindi films like ‘Gajni’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Akira’, will direct. Sajid Nadiadwala will be its producer. With producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman has given many hits including ‘Judwaa’, ‘Muzse Shaadi Karogi’ and ‘Kick’.
