TV actress Krishna Mukherjee has accused ‘Shubh Shagun’ producer Kundan Singh of mental harassment, non-payment and threats. The actress says that she became a victim of depression because of the producer. Right now he is under a lot of stress.
In an interview with Divya Bhaskar, Krishna revealed how he was mistreated on the sets. She was locked in the make-up room for hours, the incident took place in 2022. The actress filed a complaint against the producer, but is yet to get justice.
I suffer from depression and stress.
Krishna Mukherjee said, ‘The shooting of the show started in March 2022. We shot continuously for 7 months. But, the payment was received only for two months. Five months of payments are still due. But, they don’t pay it. I also filed a police complaint against him. But even after a year and a half, I have not got justice. Last year, Kundan had assured me that he would give the money. But this did not happen. They are constantly threatening my father to withdraw the case. We are being mentally tortured. Because of Kundan, I became a victim of depression. I am very stressed.
I was afraid that these people would break the door and do something wrong to me.
About the misbehavior on the sets, the actress said, ‘They used to make us work for 13-14 hours in a 12-hour shift. One day I refused to shoot, I asked the production to pay me for the work done earlier. Only after this I will do additional work. Saying this I went back to my makeup room.
As soon as I entered, some people locked my room from outside. I kept knocking the door from inside but they didn’t open the door. He was saying this over and over again – ‘Put the costume back on, how can you not shoot?’ His vehicle will not go off set. I got scared and went to the washroom. There was a fear that these people would break the door and do something wrong with me. He bullied.

He continued, ‘After a while my co-actor Shehzada Dhami got into a fight with him and opened the door. He supported me a lot. Actually, these people were behaving like this at the behest of Kundan. The producer did the same on the sets of ‘Naagin’. But that too never came up.
Police not taking action because of Smita Thackeray?
The actress said that the police is not taking any action because of Smita Thackeray’s (Baal Thackeray’s daughter-in-law) show. Mumbai is dominated by the Thackeray family. Let us tell you that ‘Shubh Shagun’ is produced by Smita Thackeray’s production house (Rahul Media and Production). Kundan Singh was the co-producer of the show. Krishna has also mentioned Rahul Media and Production in his complaint.
On the other hand, Kundan Singh on his social media page termed all the allegations of Krishna as fake.

Krishna Mukherjee started her acting career in 2014 with the film ‘Zalli Anjali’. Krishna played the role of Sheena in this film. The actress played the role of Alia Bhalla in the TV serial ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ and Priya Rehan Singhania in ‘Kuch To Hai – Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein’. The actress played the role of Shagun Shinde Jaiswal in Dangal Channel’s serial ‘Shubh Shagun’.
