Actor and voice actor Vijay Vikram Singh, famous for his voice on ‘Bigg Boss’, spoke to Divya Bhaskar about his journey and rejections. Vijay said during the interview that he could not bear the first rejection in his life. In fact, Vijay wanted to join the Army from the very beginning. He never thought of becoming a voice artist or an actor. When he took the army exam at the age of 21, he failed in the last stage of the exam.

This was his first rejection, which he could not handle. He made alcohol the companion of his sorrows. If he does not drink alcohol for some time, his hands start shaking. He struggled with depression for 6 years. He took the exam several times, but each time he reached the last stage and was rejected. He took this test 8 times, after being rejected each time, he found his cure – alcohol. After being rejected, he started drinking alcohol.

After getting rejected every time, he started to feel that his life’s purpose was gone. He has lost every fight including this exam. One day, after resorting to his intoxicants for about 6 years, his health took a turn for the worse. The doctor clearly said that his chances of survival are only 10%.

The only good thing that happened during all this was that he did not drop out. He was very good at studies from the beginning.

Vijay Vikram Singh developed pancreatic disease due to excessive drinking for many years. Vijay’s chance of survival in this accident was only 10%. He says the accident changed his life. His entire life changed when he returned home after recovering from the hospital. He studied and passed the government exam. After this he got a job in Mumbai.

Vijay has also dubbed for Hollywood films
Vijay has also dubbed for many big Hollywood films. Recently he dubbed for the famous movie ‘Inglourious Basterds’. Vijay has voiced Ashutosh Rana in the English dubbing of the OTT series ‘Khaaki’. He got his first break in acting by chance.

In fact, he went for training in the reality show India’s Next Superstar. There he met the famous casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Mukesh Chhabra called him for an audition. It was after this that Vijay was offered the role of Ajith in ‘The Family Man’. He went for shooting only 4 days after the audition. He was recently seen in the Sushmita Sen starrer series ‘Tali’. Vijay gives full credit for his success to his parents and his wife.
