In Israel, PM Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the War Cabinet. This cabinet was formed on October 7, 2023, following the attack by Hamas. It had 6 members. This cabinet was responsible for making important decisions related to Israel’s security during the war. Netanyahu gave this information in the cabinet meeting.
The war cabinet formed under Netanyahu has long been at odds. Cabinet member Benny Gantz has also resigned due to this. He attributed this to PM Netanyahu’s wrong attitude regarding the hostage deal in the Gaza war. Gantz charged that Hamas could not be destroyed because of Netanyahu. That is why he is leaving the War Cabinet.
Leaders of hard-line parties in Netanyahu’s coalition government are demanding a new war cabinet. There is a demand to include Ben Gwir. Gvir is currently Israel’s Minister of Internal Security. He is accused of being anti-Palestinian.

Know who is Ben Gwir…
Ben-Gvir went to the graves of those who had killed the Muslims
Ben-Gvir is the Minister of National Security in the Netanyahu government. Ben-Gvir is one of Israel’s most controversial leaders. He is associated with the Religious Zionists, a far-right party in Israel. Ben-Gvir followed the Kahanist ideology of the radical Jewish leader Maer Kahane.
Ben-Gvir considers Meir Kahane to be a religious figure. His Kahanist ideology held that even non-Jews in Israel should not have the right to vote. The Kahane organization views Arabs and Muslims as enemies of the Jewish community and Israel. According to the New Yorker magazine, Meir Kahan used to say, ‘Arabs are dogs, they either sit still or they go away.
According to a Washington Post report, when Ben-Gvir was just 15 years old, he stole a symbol from the front of then-Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s car. After this, Ben-Gvir told the media cameras that we will get to Rabin’s car the same way we got to it.

A few weeks later, former President Yitzhak Rabin was shot and killed by a radical. The attackers were upset about Yitzhak making a peace agreement with the Palestinians. Although Ben-Gvir was not connected to the murder, he participated in the campaign for the killer’s release.
He was involved in Kahane’s party. However, the party was banned from contesting elections in 1988. In 1994, Baruch Goldstein, a supporter of Kahane, killed 29 Muslims. After this, America, Israel and the European Union banned the story. Ben-Gvir is a big admirer of Baruch and hangs his picture in his house. He went to Goldstein’s grave on his first date with his wife.
