Tech exec’s Pescadero mansion listed for $8 million
Former National Semiconductor executive Michael Polacek and his wife, Ana, are listing their coastal mansion in Pescadero, Calif., for $7.98 million.
The Polaceks purchased nearly 18 acres of ocean view land in 2001 for $750,000 and built their dream home, which was completed in 2008.
The contemporary 6,600-square-foot steel and glass mansion has six bedrooms and four bathrooms. The home includes a two-story great room, a chef’s kitchen, expansive primary suite, and multiple balconies and patios, among many other amenities. It also boasts a two-story solarium and an indoor swimming pool with underwater channel to the outdoor lap pool. Outdoor features include garden beds, an orchard, a chicken coop and a large barn.
Eva and Jeff Chen with Compass are the listing agents.
The home blends diverse architectural styles, and includes “innovative visions of Frank Lloyd Wright, I.M. Pei, Tadao Ando, and Frank Gehry,” according to Jeff Chen.
