Crime News: It was around 1:45 pm on Friday. A farmer who was out to visit his fields noticed a yellow packet. When he went closer, he saw a half burnt yellow packet lying in the middle of the field. The farmer became curious whether this was the same packet that he had been reading about in newspapers and hearing about on TV.
Out of curiosity, he lifted a part of the packet with a stick and looked inside. What the farmer saw inside the packet took his breath away for a moment. When he regained his breath, there was heavy sweat on his forehead and panic was clearly visible on his face. This person could not think of anything, so he called BSF Intelligence and local police.
As soon as the BSF and Punjab Police, who were looking for this packet, came to know about it, a joint team of both the agencies reached the spot. The BSF and Punjab Police team that reached the spot have taken this packet in their possession. Actually, this incident is from Kod village under Tarn Taran district of Punjab and this village is situated on the border of India and Pakistan.
Surprising things came out of the packet
According to the senior officer, the packet recovered from the spot was secured with yellow tape. This packet was recovered from the spot in a half-burnt condition. When this packet was opened in the presence of BSF and Punjab Police, a pistol magazine, three 9 mm cartridges and 290 grams of heroin were recovered from inside it.
This special packet was sent from across the border
He said that the packet found in the field was sent by Pakistan with nefarious intentions. Before this packet could reach the wrong hands, the BSF and Punjab Police team took it in their possession. It is worth mentioning that taking advantage of the rising temperature in the border areas, Pakistan is constantly trying to send drugs and weapons to Punjab.
