We are talking about the Government Model School located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. According to a report in an English newspaper, many children here have performed brilliantly in exams like JEE-NEET and got admission in top colleges. According to the report, students here C Sridevi got admission in IIT Kharagpur, V Rakesh Kumar in NIT Warangal and M Sridevi also in NIT Warangal. All three have taken admission in B.Tech course.

Another student of the same school, S Kathiravan, has got admission in the MBBS course in Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. Quoting M Sridevi, who got admission in NIT Warangal, the report said that her father is a daily wage labourer. In class 11, her father used to drop her to school 30 km away. Then in class 12, she got a call to take admission in Krishnagiri Model School.
