Redfield said that the mortality rate during the coronavirus pandemic was only 0.6 percent, but the potential mortality rate from the bird flu epidemic could be between 20 and 50 percent. It is known that last month the third case of bird flu in humans was reported in America. At the same time, 15 people have been confirmed infected with H5N1 so far across the world.
