Donald Trump himself mentioned this incident and said that he felt as if the bullet had passed through his skin, but some reports also say that he was hit not by a bullet but by pieces of glass.

According to a report by RawStory, two sources connected to the Secret Service have said that Trump was hit by glass pieces and not a bullet. At the same time, some journalists present at the scene during the firing told the officials that Trump was hit by glass pieces, which were probably from the teleprompter broken by the firing. Still, the complete information is not clear yet, because Trump himself has described this incident as a bullet injury.

‘The bullet passed through the skin’
Trump then said in a post on Truth Social, ‘I was hit by a bullet which hit the upper part of my right ear and started bleeding.’ He presented this incident as an attempt to murder him. Trump said, ‘I immediately knew something was wrong. I heard a loud sound, and then a shot was fired. I immediately felt the bullet ripping my skin. There was a lot of bleeding, then I realized what was happening.’
The shooter who fired at Donald Trump has been shot. Local authorities said he was hiding in a building outside the rally site. One of the people who attended the rally died. Another person was seriously injured.
