Bihar School Examination Board is constantly worrying about the students and is also looking for solutions to their problems. Taking another step in the interest of the students, the board has changed the pattern of questions to be asked in the Matric and Intermediate exams of the year 2020.
There will be options for objective type questions
According to the new rules of the board, options will also be given for objective type questions in the matriculation and intermediate examinations of the year 2020. Currently, the board asks objective type questions of 50 marks in a 100 marks examination. No options were provided for the objective type questions of 50 marks, but now options will be available.
60 marks for a 50 marks exam
60 questions will be asked for the 50 marks exam. Students will have to answer 50 questions out of these. Such an initiative has been taken for the first time in the country. Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Anand Kishore said that giving great relief to the students, it has been decided to provide options in objective questions.
20 percent increase in questions
According to the board, there will be a 20 percent increase in objective type questions but there will be no increase in marks. Earlier, students used to miss some questions due to lack of options, now students will be able to answer all the questions. This is also expected to improve their marking significantly.
In the subject in which 25 questions were asked till now, now 30 questions will be asked, in the subject in which 35 questions were asked, now 42 questions will be asked and in the subject in which 50 questions were asked, now 60 questions will be asked.
According to the new rules of the board, if a candidate answers all the objective type questions, then only the top 50 questions will be considered correct.
