Patna. A case of bullying by the Mukhiya’s husband and son has come to light in the Paliganj subdivision of Patna district of Bihar. Here, in a mutual dispute, the Mukhiya’s husband and son shot and injured farmer Rajeshwar Singh. The firing incident created panic in the area. Somehow the family informed the police and took the injured to a private hospital for treatment, where the doctors referred him to Patna PMCH after seeing his critical condition. The incident is from Pariyon village of Paliganj police station area.
It is being told that on Tuesday late night, in a mutual dispute, farmer Rajeshwar was shot by the village head’s husband and his son and they fled. The injured has been identified as Rajeshwar Singh (55 years), son of late Devnand Singh, resident of Pariyon village. After the incident, the people of the victim’s family are scared. According to the information, Rajeshwar Singh, a resident of Pariyon village, was returning home from the field late on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, Satyandra Rajak, husband of the village head Asha Devi, his son Tuntun Rajak and another Deepak Rajak stopped him and shot him. After the incident, all of them fled.
As soon as the incident was known, with the help of family and villagers, he was brought to PHC Paliganj where doctors referred him to Patna. Victim Rajeshwar Singh said that he was already having a land dispute with the head of Madhwan Panchayat and the husband of Asha Devi, a resident of Pariyon. Meanwhile, on Tuesday late evening, while returning from the field, he had just reached near the high school when the head’s husband and his two sons surrounded him and shot him.
Doctors said that there is too much blood coming out due to which it is not possible to know whether he was shot or stabbed. It will be known only after a thorough examination. He has been referred to Patna for better treatment. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident and started investigating the whole case.
