Disclosure: Thomas Matthew Crooks had bought 50 rounds of ammunition before the attack on Donald Trump, questions being raised on the FBI

Chicago. The accused of murdering former US President Donald Trump had bought 50 rounds of ammunition a few hours before the shooting. It has also been revealed that the Secret Service did not search the roof from where gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks fired at the former president. This explosive information from CNN has come at a time when the Secret Service is facing many questions, including how the 20-year-old youth managed to reach just 130 yards from where Trump was speaking at an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Crooks shot Trump in the ear with an AR-style rifle that his father legally purchased. A new video that surfaced on Monday shows Trump fans looking at the attacker, pointing and questioning why Crooks was on the roof. Several witnesses have said they warned security officials that a gunman was crawling up the building, but they took no action until the attacker opened fire.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, who shot former President Donald Trump, was a registered Republican and would have voted for the first time in the presidential election in November. He lived in the Pittsburgh suburb of Bethel Park, about 56 km south of Trump’s rally site. During the rally on Saturday, he fired a bullet at Trump, the Republican Party’s presumptive presidential candidate, which hit his ear.

He showered bullets on Trump from a high place outside the rally venue. Later, the attacker was killed by secret service personnel. CNN quoted several law enforcement sources on Sunday as saying that explosive material was found inside his car and house.

She previously made a small contribution to the Democratic-aligned group, the network previously reported, citing public records. She graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022, according to local media reports and a video of the school’s commencement.
