Father runs a small shop, son became a deputy commissioner, cleared UPSC by studying like this

He passed the UPSC exam and secured 20th rank in the whole country. He has brought glory to Bundelkhand as well as his district. After clearing the UPSC exam, there is a wave of happiness in his house and there is a queue of people congratulating him. Vivek Kumar Gupta of Banda district has passed the UPSC examination and has secured the post of Deputy Commissioner Provident. Vivek is a resident of Chhote Bazar under City Kotwali. His father has a mobile recharge shop. Vivek also has a younger sister who is studying B.Tech in Jhansi.

Vivek Kumar’s Educational Qualification
Vivek joined a private job after B.Tech. Along with this, Vivek did M.Tech and started working in a private job. Due to wrong entry of name during KYC update, Vivek Gupta’s salary got delayed by 3 months. During this time, he had to face a lot of difficulties. Then he decided that he would become an officer and remove such shortcomings. So that no one else like him has to struggle. Then he started preparing for UPSC. He failed in the first attempt. But he passed in the second attempt and got 20th rank in the country.

Worked hard by making notes yourself
Vivek says that he got his primary education from Saraswati Vidya Mandir Banda. He took coaching only for the interview. He prepared for the rest of the UPSC by making his own notes. Vivek says, ‘People who say that you have to work very hard to pass UPSC are wrong. You just have to prepare happily with a fresh mind. Those who rote learn can never pass this exam.’ He also says that luck is also important in UPSC, which he had good luck with.
