Vaishno Devi Helicopter Service: There is good news for the devotees of Vaishno Devi. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has announced that for the convenience of the devotees, a special helicopter service will be started from June 18, in which people will be able to go from Jammu to Vaishno Devi. Till now helicopter services were available only from Katra to Sanjichhat, whereas now people will be able to reach very close to the temple by helicopter. This decision has been taken as part of efforts to give more and more devotees an opportunity to worship in the cave temple in a systematic manner. To book this helicopter service, devotees will have to visit the official website of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
These facilities will be given in the package
Apart from helicopter facility, many other facilities have also been announced for the devotees in the Jammu to Vaishno Devi helicopter package. In this package, battery car facility, priority in darshan, refreshment and prasad will also be provided to the devotees along with Bhairo Ghati ropeway facility. Apart from this, devotees who book the return package the next day will also be provided with special puja-aarti and facility of staying in the Bhawan.
Booking Charges
According to the official website of the Shrine Board, if the devotees want to return the same day, they will have to pay Rs 35,000 per devotee. But if the devotees want to spend the night and return the next day, they will have to pay Rs 60,000 per devotee.

How to make booking
Devotees will be able to book these two packages from the official website (https://online.maavaishnodevi.org/) from June 18. For this, you will first have to go to the -Helicopter Services- option and register. But if you already have an account, then you will only have to login. After this, you will have to choose the date, number of passengers, time. After filling the details, you will have to make the payment. Your e-ticket will be received on your mail.
