Nissan X-Trail: This car will end the dominance of Toyota Fortuner, booking has started, will hit the market next month

Nissan X-Trail: Nissan India has officially started booking its new flagship SUV, the Nissan X-Trail. Customers can book this three-row SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. The X-Trail will be offered in one variant and three colour options – Pearl White, Diamond Black and Champagne Silver. The prices of the SUV will be revealed on August 1, 2024.

The Nissan X-Trail gets a 1.5-liter three-cylinder VCT engine mated to a CVT gearbox. It has a 12-volt mild-hybrid system, which generates 160bhp of power and 300Nm of peak torque. Apart from this, it has three drive modes – Eco, Standard and Sport.

Features of X-Trail
Talking about the interior, the cabin of the X-Trail looks useful and purposeful in terms of both looks and features. It has an 8-inch infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, electronic parking brake with auto hold and wireless charger.

Apart from this, the steering wheel is covered with leather cover and a digital instrument panel is provided on the dashboard. Other features include 360-degree surround camera, panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors and 7 airbags and manually adjustable front seats.

Talking about the price, being a CBU, the Nissan X-Trail is expected to be priced between Rs 28 lakh and Rs 32 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, this model will challenge the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, Hyundai Tucson and even the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
