New Delhi. Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar and veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi’s most awaited film ‘OMG 2’ has finally been released in theatres today (11 August). In the film, Akshay Kumar is seen in the avatar of a messenger of Lord Shiva, and this time his avatar will give you goosebumps. At the same time, the hero of the film is Pankaj Tripathi, who is playing the character of a good and noble person named Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who is a great devotee of Lord Shiva. In the film, actress Yami Gautam is playing the role of a famous lawyer named ‘Kamini Maheshwari’. The entire story of this film revolves around these three characters.
Story: The story of the film begins with an ordinary family. Kanti Sharan Mudgal who is living his life happily with his wife, a son and a daughter. His life is turned upside down when a video of his son Vivek goes viral on social media, in which he is seen masturbating in the washroom of his school, after which he is expelled from school. He goes into depression and also attempts to commit suicide, due to which Kanti becomes very depressed. In such a situation, Akshay Kumar, who becomes the messenger of Lord Shiva, comes to help Mahakal devotee Kanti. He shows Kanti the right path to get her son’s respect back and then Kanti fights a legal battle for his son. This time the story of the film has been prepared to promote sex education, which has also proved successful in giving a big message among the people. The film also shows a courtroom scene where no lawyer supports Kanti in this case and he himself fights for his son against the famous lawyer Kamini Maheshwari. In this legal battle, Kanti always gets the support of Lord Shiva’s messenger, but how? Will Kanti succeed in defeating lawyer Kamini in the court? Will Kanti be able to get his son’s lost respect back?… To know the answers to all these questions, you will have to go to the cinema and watch the entire film.
First Half: The first half of the film is quite interesting and full of entertainment. During this time, the story of the film has been woven in such a way that you remain more excited for the second half. You will also get to see court room scenes in the film, where you are forced to laugh in between and some scenes are such that you are forced to think. The first half of the film keeps you completely captivated. During this, whenever Akshay has appeared as the messenger of Shiva, his words give you goosebumps.
Second Half: The initial second half seems a bit weak… because here the pace of the film slows down a bit, but by the time it reaches the climax, the last 40-45 minutes of the film are back on track. The climax of the film is fantastic, that is, when you leave your seat, you will definitely think once that I wish the film was a little longer. There is no doubt that after watching this film you will not be disappointed.
direction: This time Amit Rai has taken over the direction of the film and he has been successful in it. After watching the film, it seems that the director has worked very carefully on everything. All the scenes shown in the film have been presented very beautifully. Especially the way Lord Shiva’s messenger has been shown in the film, you will never feel that you are watching a movie. Akshay Kumar Whenever you see Akshay on screen, you see the same messenger sent by Lord Shiva. The direction is so amazing that at many places you will not be able to control your emotions. Also, the way sex education has been talked about will be liked by the audience. The way Amit Rai has presented a big issue and the way he has talked about this issue is really commendable.
Acting: From Akshay Kumar to Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and Pawan Malhotra as Judge Purushottam Nagar, all the veteran actors have done justice to their characters. Akshay has molded himself as the messenger of Lord Shiva in such a way that you will find it hard to believe. At the same time, Pankaj Tripathi is an artist who brings life to every character and he knows very well how to mold himself in any kind of character. He makes you cry in emotional scenes and he also makes you laugh in comedy scenes. The way Yami Gautam has played the role of a lawyer is also commendable. This time Pawan Malhotra is definitely in the role of a judge, but his character is that of a great comedian, who makes you laugh even in the courtroom scene.
music: The music of the film has been composed by Vikram Montrose, Hansraj Raghuvanshi, DJstrings, Pranay and Sandesh Shandilya, while the lyrics have been written by Kabir Shukla, Hansraj Raghuvanshi, DJstrings, Shekhar Astitva, Ginni Dewan and Sandesh Shandilya. Two songs of the film ‘Oonchi Oonchi Vaadi’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev’ will make you dance in the theatres. The music of the film is so melodious that it goes straight into your heart.
Weak Point: If you are a fan of Akshay Kumar, then you will definitely be a little disappointed, because this time Akshay has appeared very less on screen, the way he appeared in part one of this film, his presence in the second part of the film seems a little less than that. This is one thing you will definitely miss in the film. The director should have added some more scenes of Akshay in the film. At the same time, the locations in the film are limited, if the film was shot at two-four different locations, then some variety would have been seen.

In this film, emotions and comedy have been shown in such a way that it is entertaining as well as informative. I believe that more such films should be made.
