After this, the thieves brought cutters and started cutting the ATM machine but they did such a thing that they had to leave everything and run away from there. It is being told that late on Sunday night some thieves tried to cut the ATM machine with a cutter. However, during this time the ATM machine suddenly caught fire and the notes were burnt to ashes.
The incident took place at SBI Bank located in Maliwada of Daulatabad police station area. Late on Sunday night, some thieves entered the ATM machine of SBI Bank with the intention of theft. During this, they used a cutter to cut the CDR machine of the ATM. But even after a lot of efforts, the ATM could not be cut. During this, the ATM machine caught fire due to the spark of the cutter and the 500 rupee notes were burnt to ashes. This incident was captured in the CCTV installed in the ATM machine.
It is seen in the CCTV that two thieves enter the ATM and as soon as they start cutting the CDR machine, it suddenly catches fire. The police came to know about the incident on Monday morning, when the local people saw the burnt notes in the ATM machine. The police reached the spot and after this the fire brigade and crime branch team were called to the spot.
The police have started searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage. However, it is not yet known how much money has been burnt to ashes. At present, this incident remains a topic of discussion in the area.
