PM Modi reached Italy to participate in G-7 Summit, know the complete schedule of what he will do in Apulia today


Apulia (Italy). Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Apulia, Italy late Thursday night (local time) to attend the G7 summit, where India has been invited as an outreach country. As soon as Prime Minister Modi landed at Brindisi airport in Apulia, he was welcomed by Indian Ambassador to Italy Vani Rao and other officials. This is Prime Minister Modi’s first foreign visit after assuming office for the third consecutive time.

Randhir Jaiswal, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, wrote in a post on Instagram that ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Brindisi Airport in Apulia, Italy. The agenda includes participation in the outreach session of the G7 Summit and important interactions with global leaders. An action-packed day awaits!’ Giving information about PM Modi’s one-day visit to Italy, Jaiswal posted another video, in which he has given information about the Prime Minister’s meetings with world leaders on June 14.

PM Modi’s schedule for today, i.e. 14 June, is as follows (timings are according to the local time of Italy):

10:45-11:10: Bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.

11:10-11:30: Talks with UK PM Rishi Sunak.

13:30: Arrival at G7 summit venue Borgo Imagia.

13:45: Welcome photo session with Italian PM.

14:00-17:30: G7 outreach session.

17:30-17:45: Family photo session.

17:50-18:15: Bilateral talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

18:20-18:40: Bilateral talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni.

18:40-19:30: Special meeting.

19:30-19:55: Bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

20:30-21:30: Italian PM Meloni will host dinner with cultural programme.
