Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has declared the result of 10th class examination on Monday. Six children are included in the top-3. Like last time, girls have dominated the merit list. 39 children have made it to the merit list. This includes 27 girls and 12 boys.
Paras Rajput of Saraswati Vidya Mandir High School of Madhi, Dharampur, Mandi has secured the second position. Paras has got 690 marks. Talking to News18, Paras said that he wants to become an engineer. He wants to study non-medical in future. It is worth noting that Paras is a resident of Bahri village of Sajao Piplu in Dharampur.
Paras told that his father Naresh Kumar is a lecturer in Madhi’s Jhanghi school and his mother is a teacher in the same school. Paras told that he studies for seven to eight hours daily.

Paras has scored 100% marks in Social Science. Apart from this, he has scored 99-99 marks in Hindi, Sanskrit and Computer Science, 98 marks in Science and English and 97 marks in Maths.
Six children in the top three in merit
Atharv Thakur of Geetanjali Public School Dhaneta, Hamirpur has topped the state with 98.71 percent marks. Atharv, a resident of Naidun, has scored 691 out of 700 marks. There are three children in the second place in the merit list.
Mandi has occupied the second position. Paras of Saraswati Vidya Mandir High School of Madhi in Dharampur area of Mandi has secured 690 percent marks. Dhruv of S Vidya Mandir High School, Namhol, Bilaspur has also secured second position in the state. Dhruv has secured 690 percent marks.
Ridhi Sharma, a student of Anglo Sanskrit Model School Mandi, has also secured second position. She has got 690 marks. Two girls have secured third position. Komal Jinta, a student of Glory International School, Rohru, Shimla and Sakshi, a student of Geetanjali Public School Dhaneta, Hamirpur have got 689 marks.
The result has been 60.79 percent
This time 1,11,980 students appeared for the 10th standard exam, out of which 67319 students passed. 6395 students got compartment. This time the result was 60.79 percent.
