In the interview, he criticized the club’s owners, manager Eric Ten Hag. He also talked about how he was treated at the club. He also named several players who criticized him while he was at the club.
It is known to everyone that Ronaldo wants to leave the club. And he has somehow managed to start in Premier League matches this season. Former Red Devils star Wayne Rooney was the first to criticise Ronaldo for his form and attitude. He even suggested that Ronaldo should be sold.

Now Rooney, while talking to CNN, has reacted to what Ronaldo said in the interview. He said, “He is a great player. As I said earlier, he and Messi are the two best players to play the game. This is not a criticism but, age comes to everyone and Cristiano is having a hard time dealing with it. He gave an interview which the whole world saw. Some of the comments are strange. But I know that when Manchester United see this interview, they will deal with it and take whatever action they need to take.”
