Washington. 24-year-old Indian-American Ashwin Ramaswamy is set to create history in the US Presidential election and if he wins his Senate seat, he will be the first person to reach this position at such a young age.
Actually, Ramaswami has received the support of US Senator John Ossoff in his bid for the Georgia State Senate seat and he is now going to contest the election as a Democratic candidate. He is pitted against the current Republican Senator Sean Steil.
Sean Still is the same man who was accused of trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. Still was also convicted along with former President Donald Trump for inciting the insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Senator Ossoff said clearly about the candidates, “Ashwin has previously been an election security expert, and he is contesting against a MAGA (Make American Great Again) politician who is accused of participating in an attempt to steal the 2020 election. Rafael Warnock and I were contesting at that time.” Ramaswami has thanked Senator Ossoff for getting the Georgia candidacy and support.

Ramaswami, who left his election security job at CISA to run against Steil, has already raised more than $280,000 and has outraised his opponent. If Ramaswami wins the election, he will make history as the youngest elected representative in the state of Georgia and the first Indian-American to win the position in the state.
