Devastating rain continues... IMD alert from Uttarakhand to Himachal, people of UP-Bihar should know what the weather will be like

Weather Monsoon Update: There is torrential rain in many states of the country. Rain is wreaking havoc in the mountains. Many people have lost their lives due to rain from Uttarakhand to Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a “red” alert for extremely heavy rains in central Maharashtra and eastern Madhya Pradesh. Also, IMD has warned of very heavy rains in various areas across the country including Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Konkan, Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Assam and Meghalaya.

According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued in four northern districts of Kerala including Wayanad. From August 3, the rain activity will decrease significantly. After this, only light to moderate rain will be experienced for the next four days. According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat region from August 3 to August 5.

Delhi’s climate
On Friday, clouds kept moving in most parts of the capital Delhi since morning. The sun also kept coming out intermittently. During this time, light rain also occurred at some places. The weather department has predicted that clouds will continue to move on Saturday as well. There may be drizzle and light rain at some places. During this time, the maximum temperature is likely to be 34 and the minimum 26 degrees.

Left a trail of devastation in Uttarakhand
So far 13 people have died in Uttarakhand. Four people have died in Haridwar, three in Tehri, three in Dehradun, one each in Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Nainital. While 16 people are reported missing. Let us tell you that the water level of rivers has increased due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand. Due to this, flood situation has arisen in many places. Many people are stranded due to roads being washed away due to strong currents. The Meteorological Department has still issued a rain alert in Uttarakhand.

Rain alert in Himachal
Rain has caused havoc in Himachal as well. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains during August 3 and 4 in Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rains with thunderstorms have been predicted for the rest of the districts except Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur and Sirmaur on August 3 and 4 and then on August 7 and 8.

Where will it rain in the next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain is possible over Jharkhand, northern Chhattisgarh and northeast Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with heavy rain at some places is possible over Sikkim, Assam, West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North Telangana, South and West Rajasthan, East Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Andaman-Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rain is possible over Northeast India, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, North Rajasthan, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Marathwada, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over Ladakh, western parts of Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.
