Paris Olympics 2024, Shooting Live: 25m pistol women's qualification underway, Isha finishes second in Precision

New Delhi. All eyes will be on India’s star shooter Manu Bhaker today again. This shooter, who has won two medals for the country so far, will be expected to win a third medal. Manu Bhaker has entered the 25m pistol women’s qualification round with partner Isha Singh. In this, first precision and then rapid series are used. Isha is aiming in precision. Manu will aim in the rapid round at 3.30 pm.

The qualification precision round of women’s 25 meter pistol has started. India’s Isha Singh has scored 95 in the first series. On the basis of this score, she has reached the 12th position among 20 shooters. In the second series, the Indian shooter improved her score and scored 96 points. Currently she is in 14th position. In the third series, she scored 100 points by hitting 10 consecutive shots on 10 targets and reached the second position.

India has won three medals in Paris Olympics so far. Out of these, two medals have been won by shooter Manu Bhaker. She opened India’s medal account in this Olympics by winning bronze medal in 10 meter air pistol. After this, she won a medal in doubles in the same event along with Sarabjot Singh. The Indian pair finished third in 10 meter air pistol. India got the second medal.

Manu Bhaker has already created history by winning two medals for India in one Olympics. No Indian athlete has ever performed like this in Olympic history. She is going to compete with Isha Singh in doubles in the 25 meter pistol event. If she manages to win a medal here too, she will achieve a hat-trick of medals.
