In the last 24 hours in Chandigarh, bike-borne miscreants snatched mobile phones from two people including a woman in Sector-39 and 40 and ran away. Police have registered the case and started investigation.

Yogender Kumar, a resident of Buterla village of Sector 41, said in his complaint to the police that three unknown persons riding a bike snatched his mobile phone and ran away near Paddy Market Chowk of Sector-39. Police case has been registered.
Suman was returning home from the market.
In the second case, Suman Goyal, resident of Sector 40, said that she was returning home from the market. As soon as she reached near a private school, two youths riding a bike came behind her and snatched the mobile from her hand and ran away. Suman raised an alarm and informed the police about the snatching on number 112. On receiving information, Sector 39 police reached the spot. Police recorded Suman’s statement, registered a case and started investigation.
