Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher had met farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal at Khanauri border a day earlier.
Today (December 16), farmers will take out tractor march across the country except Punjab for 13 demands including Minimum Support Price (MSP) on crops. Tractor marches will be taken out from 10:30 am to 2 pm.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on fast unto death for 20 days at Khanauri border, has written a letter to the President. Farmers will hand over the copy of the letter written by Dallewal to DC and SDM.
Dallewal started the fast unto death on 26 November. He is at Khanauri border after being in the custody of Punjab Police for 96 hours. His weight has reduced considerably. The team of doctors is keeping an eye on Dallewal’s health.
Doctors say that Dallewal is at risk of silent heart attack. His body has become weak. It is necessary to get him admitted to the hospital.
On the other hand, Sanyukt Kisan Morcha convenor Sarwan Singh Pandher had on Sunday written a letter to all the farmer unions of Punjab asking them to come together on one platform. Punjab Kisan Union President Ruldu Singh Mansa, who contested the Punjab Assembly elections, raised questions on Pandher’s letter. He said that Jagjit Singh Dallewal is also the main face of the movement, but the letter does not have the signature of his union.
The leaders associated with Dallewal’s organization have not yet reacted to this. However, when Pandher was questioned, he said that this is a matter of the internal committee. He is fulfilling the responsibility given to him.

Kisan Congress chief will also sit on hunger strike
Punjab Kisan Congress President Bikram Singh Sandhu will sit on a one-day hunger strike at the Punjab Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh in support of Dallewal.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav and Union Home Director Mayank Mishra had met Dallewal at Khanauri border on Sunday.

On Sunday, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav and Union Home Director Mayank Mishra met Dallewal at Khanauri border. After meeting Dallewal, Mayank Mishra said that he has taken information about the demands of the farmers. He refused the proposal for talks from the Centre. The Supreme Court had ordered medical help for Dallewal.
Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh. Both the leaders informed Modi about the farmers’ movement. BJP President JP Nadda and Union Minister Piyush Goyal were also present in the meeting.

After Dallewal’s fast unto death, a large number of women are also reaching Khanauri border.
INLD chief general secretary will meet Dallewal today
Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Principal General Secretary Abhay Singh Chautala said that the health of Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is suffering from cancer, remains very critical. Despite this, he is sitting on a fast unto death for the farmers. His party has already announced full support to the farmers’ movement. Today he will meet Dallewal.
Vinesh Phogat said- Emergency like situation in the country
Wrestler and Congress MLA Vinesh Phogat reached Khanauri border on Sunday. He said, ‘Dallewal is risking his life for others. I urge the people of Punjab, Haryana and the entire country to participate in this protest. There is an emergency like situation in the country. The government will have to find a solution to this. PM Modi gives very big speeches. Yesterday also he gave a speech in the Parliament, but now apart from giving a speech, something else will have to be done.
